What is prostate cancer? The term cancer refers to a very large group of different diseases, which all have one thing in common: the uncontrolled cell division of an organ or tissue. These uncontrolled cells form what is known as a tumor. Prostate cancer occurs when the prostate develops this kind of a tumor.
