Type 2 Diabetes - Who is at Risk?

Diabetes is a metabolic disease which was initially classified as the disease of the rich along with hypertension, cancer, etc but it is fast becoming the disease that affect all classes of people irrespective of their social status, races, colour, country or genetic background. Indeed everybody has some level of probability to develop type2 diabetes. This disease which is characterized by high blood and urine sugar levels can progress to alter the general metabolism of the body affecting the proper functioning of vital organs in the body, from the skin to the eyes, kidneys, heart, blood circulation, nerves and muscle.
